Located on the Fleurieu Peninsula, 35 South Electrical specialises in sustainably driven and architecturally focused electrical solutions, as well as general electrical needs. We work alongside our sister company, 35 South Building Co, to deliver high quality electrical solutions for new builds and renovations, and are also here to help with independent off-grid and major property upgrade projects.

Helmed by John Nienhaus (Long John for short), we place a thoughtful and sustainable approach at the heart of our work. We want to make sure the choices we make have a long lasting positive effect, meaning when you start a project with us, you can be certain we’re as invested in the final result as you are.

  • John Neinhaus

    We call him Long John - or LJ - but it’s more than his stature that is significant to our company. He’s our softly-spoken, superbly smart, sensitive, thoughtful A Class Electrician. We’re so grateful to have him on our team and this quiet achiever provides analytical insights and electrical solutions, that build upon and strengthen the work we do for our clients. His love for self-sustainable, off grid and renewable power systems and outcomes, is seen as a key investment together with his beliefs and values that align not only with 35 South Electrical but are passed on to our wonderful clients.

  • Luke Evans

    Our young, A Class electrician in the making - incredibly humble, intelligent and a loyal team member. With a refrigeration mechanic background, he goes about his work calmly and with a total 'no fuss' attitude.

    His firm belief that knowledge is power and the ability to continually absorb the sustainable solutions of the electrical trade is what makes him such a valuable addition to both our team and for our customers in a technological environment that – like him – is always learning and growing.

  • Harry Ramke

    Harry is a driven 21-year-old first-year apprentice known for his meticulous attention to detail and high personal standards. From an early age, Harry has set ambitious goals for himself, striving to excel in every task he undertakes. His dedication to precision and quality has earned him recognition among his peers and mentors alike.

    While Harry's commitment to excellence is undeniable, his passion for banter occasionally reveals a more sensitive side. Despite this, his colleagues appreciate his quick wit and friendly demeanor, knowing that behind his sharp humor lies a steadfast commitment to his craft.
